קִידּוּש, קִדּ׳m. (קָדַש) 1) sanctification, esp. ק׳ השם the sanctification of the Name (of the Lord, v. קְדוּשָּׁה), loyally to the Jewish faith, martyrdom. Y.Shebi.IV, 35a bot. Pesik.
